Orlandi Contucci Ponno

Italy

Situated on the foothills of the valley of the river Vomano, about 2 kilometers from the Adriatic Sea and less than 20 from the chain of the Gran Sasso Mountains (m.2920), Orlandi Contucci Ponno enjoys a privileged climate benefiting from the thermoregulatory action of the sea, as from the breezes coming from the mountains that temper the heat of the summer nights, thus ensuring a regular and continuous cycle of vegetation essential to the development of the organoleptic qualities of the grapes.

The area is famous for the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo varietal and the eponymous wine plus the elegant white Pecorino.

The vineyard is now part of the collection of vineyards owned by the Gussalli Beretta organization.
