For four generations the Goretti family has cultivated love for their land. Theirs is a story that is made from love; love for the Umbrian hills, love for quality and love for the magic that turns grapes into wine. Their story began with a dream that is very much alive today; to create excellent wine that is respectful of the land it comes from.

Tasting Notes:

An intense ruby red color with violet hues, the wine pours very complex and very intense aromas of mature, exotic fruit and honey. The flavors are elegant and long. The wine really lingers on the palate.

Pair it With:

Beautiful along with roasts and grilled meats, excellent with matured cheeses and pasta dishes containing tomato based sauce.

Grape Varieties:

60% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot, 10% Ciliegiolo

Aging:

14 - 16 months in French oak barriques

Farming Methods:

Sustainably farmed; the winery won the ‘Cifo Award’ in 2013 for ‘excellent footprints: sustainable agronomic techniques for valuable viticulture’.

Limestone and clay
