Sitting on the foothills of the Vomano River valley and about 2 kilometers from the Adriatic Sea, Orlando Contucci Ponno enjoys an ideal climate. The maritime weather brings breezes off the mountains that temper the heat of the summer’s nights, ensuring a continuous cycle of vegetation. The vineyards are owned by the Beretta family.

Tasting Notes:

The wine pours a deep yellow color with greenish hints and boasts aromas of fresh spices and apples. The palate is fairly persistent and very fresh, it possesses a great balance between acidity and structure.

This is a fresh and delicious wine for pairing alongside food. Try it with bleu cheeses and canestrato cheese, au gratin dishes and white meats.
