Villa Angarano Breganze Torcolato Riserva 2012

Villa Angarano sits in the easternmost part of the Breganze DOC area in Bassano del Grappa. The alluvial soil and nightly breeze that blows down the Valsugana Valley are beneficial to both their grapevines and their olive groves. Thanks to their generous climatic conditions, this Venetian lands were chosen first for grape cultivation and were never abandoned. Wine has always been produced here. Today the vineyards are managed by the five Bianchi Michiel sisters. Their love for the harvest and for wine shows in their work.

Tasting Notes:

This dessert wine is a bright amber yellow color with notes of citrus, apricot jam and fresh hazelnuts. It is sweet and soft with good freshness and acidity followed by an aftertaste of dried fruit, balsamic honey and almonds.

Pair it With:

This wine is absolutely delicious with nuts and nut based desserts (nut roll, baklava), dry cookies and bleu cheese.
